This notice is framed around the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where the EU GDPR or other applicable privacy laws also protect you, those rights continue to apply.
02What information do we use?
Information you provide
- Your email address, telephone number, name or messaging profile, and the content of your enquiries.
- Your country, requested plan, duration, number of screens and relevant channel or language preferences.
- Device and app details, error messages and screenshots you share for support. An app identifier, such as a MAC address or device key, may be needed for a setup you request.
- Order, activation, renewal and payment-confirmation information needed to manage the service.
- Reseller enquiries and account-related information when you request reseller access or support.
Share only what is needed for your request. Do not send card security codes, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information in a routine enquiry. Hide passwords and access codes in screenshots unless a specific support step requires them through an agreed channel.
Technical information
Hosting and security systems may record your IP address, request time, requested page, response status and browser or device information. These records support site delivery, troubleshooting and protection against misuse.
You do not need to create a customer account or complete a contact form to browse this website. Enquiries are handled through email and WhatsApp.
03Why do we use your information?
- Enquiries & orders
- To respond to your request, discuss an offer, manage your order and arrange activation. The basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or performing the contract.
- Customer support
- To provide the assistance connected with your service and maintain relevant service records. The basis is performance of the contract.
- Security & disputes
- To protect the website, investigate misuse, maintain necessary business records and deal with disputes. We rely on legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligations
- To keep records or disclose information where applicable accounting, tax or other law requires it.
- Consent
- If a separate optional use requires your consent, we explain that use when asking. You can withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Providing information is your choice. Without the contact, order or setup details needed for a request, we may be unable to answer it or deliver the service you ask for.
04Cookies and browser preferences
We do not use advertising pixels or visitor analytics tools. However, this does not mean the website uses no browser storage.
Light or dark mode: when you select an appearance, the website saves that choice in local storage under best-iptv-theme. It allows the same browser to remember your preferred display. This preference is not used for advertising or visitor profiling.
Local storage has no automatic expiry set by the theme. You can remove the saved preference by clearing this website’s data in your browser. If no choice is saved, the theme can follow your device’s colour-scheme setting.
WordPress administration uses separate login and security mechanisms for authorised administrators. These are distinct from ordinary public browsing. If optional tracking tools are introduced, we will describe them and obtain consent where required before enabling them.
05Contact by email or WhatsApp
When you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments. When you message us through WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, profile information made available to us and the messages you send.
Opening a WhatsApp link takes you to a separate service. WhatsApp processes service information under its own Privacy Policy, including information about how it operates internationally. The applicable terms may depend on your location. We remain responsible for how we use the information we receive to handle your enquiry or service.
You can use email if you prefer not to use WhatsApp. A UK phone number does not establish where messages or provider systems are hosted.
06How long do we keep information?
- Enquiries without an order: up to 12 months after the last message, so we can follow up and understand a continuing enquiry.
- Customer records: throughout the subscription and up to 24 months after expiry, for relevant support and dispute handling.
- Accounting and transaction records: for the period required by the law applicable to the record. Records needed for an unresolved legal claim may be retained until the matter and any applicable retention obligations end.
- Technical logs: for the operational and security period set by the hosting or security service. Relevant entries may need to be retained longer to investigate a specific incident.
- Appearance preference: until you clear the website’s local storage or change the saved choice.
We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed for these purposes, subject to any applicable legal retention requirement.
07Service providers and international transfers
We share personal information only where needed for the relevant service or purpose. Recipients include the following providers or categories of recipients:
- Hostinger: website and email hosting, including the technical information needed to deliver and protect those services.
- Messaging providers: the contact and message information involved when you choose to contact us through their services, as explained above.
- Payment service providers: the information needed to process, confirm or reconcile a transaction, handle a refund or investigate a payment dispute. This may include contact details, the amount, transaction reference and payment status, depending on the transaction.
- Activation and technical support providers: the service, account or device details needed to fulfil the activation or support you request.
- Professional advisers and public authorities: information needed for advice, legal claims or an applicable legal obligation.
Some providers process information on our behalf; others determine their own processing for particular services and provide their own privacy notices. Providers acting on our behalf must be subject to appropriate contractual protections.
Where a restricted international transfer occurs, it needs an applicable lawful mechanism, such as adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards. This draft does not assert that a particular transfer agreement has already been put in place. The published notice should explain the arrangements that actually apply and how to request a copy of relevant safeguards.
08Protecting your information
The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit between the browser and website. We aim to restrict access to personal information to those who need it for the relevant task and to keep the information we request proportionate to that task.
No online service can promise absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we assess the circumstances and notify the relevant authority and affected people where the applicable law requires it.
09Children
Orders and account-related services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review it and remove information that should not be retained.
10Your rights and how to use them
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you can ask to access your personal information, correct inaccuracies, erase information, restrict its use or receive certain information in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it.
These rights have conditions and exceptions. For example, an erasure request does not override a legal obligation to keep particular records.
Email us with your request and the email address or phone number you previously used with us. We may request proportionate identity checks if needed to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person. Rights requests are normally free.
We normally respond within one month. Where the law allows additional time, such as for a complex request, we explain the reason and the revised timetable. An extension for complexity may be up to two further months.
11Questions or complaints
Raise privacy concerns with Jhonathan Duran at contact@best-iptv.tv or the address above. Explain what happened and the outcome you are seeking so we can investigate.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). See the ICO’s guidance on making a data protection complaint for the process, including first raising the matter with the organisation. Where the EU GDPR applies, you may also complain to the relevant EEA supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
12Updates to this policy
We update this notice when our practices, services or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the version. Where a significant change requires a specific notice or consent, we provide that notice or request before the relevant new use begins.
